Forty-eight students from Years 7 to 10 at Chifley College, Mount Druitt Support Unit, recently took part in a Busways travel training and bus safety session - learning essential life skills that support independence and safe travel.
From Monday 29 September 2025 major roadworks on Railway Terrace between Riverstone Road and St Albans Road will impact Route 734 and thirteen school services.
During the roadworks, Route 734 trips which currently run to/from Riverstone will instead run to/from Schofields Public School on Junction Road. Customers for Riverstone will need to use another bus service or the train.
The following 734 stops will not be serviced (Stop ID numbers):

The following school bus routes will follow an altered path:

The changes are expected to be in place for approximately 18 months.
Hundreds of extra bus services delivered to fast-growing Western Sydney suburbs

Hundreds more bus services are being added to the timetable in Western Sydney, with more frequent buses starting earlier and finishing later.
An additional 244 trips will be added to the timetable from today, Sunday 29 June.
The extra services connect areas including Penrith, Blacktown, St Marys and Mount Druitt.
Due to works on the level crossing at Koolewong, a diversion will be in place and bus stops missed from:
