Busways, the largest Australian-owned bus operator, has been chosen to deliver a critical new bus service linking key Western Sydney hubs, including Penrith and Mount Druitt, to the Bradfield City Centre and the new Western Sydney International Airport.

The holiday spirit was in full swing this week as Busways proudly hosted the annual judging of Sydney’s Best Decorated Christmas Bus at our Penrith Depot.  

This delightful tradition, organised by Transport for NSW, saw 11 spectacular Christmas buses from across Greater Sydney contract regions all vying to be nominated best decorated. 

Busways congratulates Port Macquarie bus driver Kath Curry, who is the BusNSW Rural and Regional Driver of the Year for 2024. With a driving career spanning 25 years, Kath’s journey exemplifies dedication, professionalism, and a profound commitment to her community.
