Bush fires are still occurring within in the Macleay Valley with the following impact on services operated from the Kempsey Depot caused by either road closure due to fire zone still being active in area or awaiting confirmation from Kempsey Shire Council that road infrastructure is safe and suitable for heavy vehicles.

From Tuesday, 31 October 2023, Customers in Bulahdelah and Heatherbrae will have access to real-time trip information on the location of buses and estimated arrival times.

As part of this program, all dedicated school bus services will be given new numbers. However, there will be no changes to timetables or route paths operated.

School bus numbers will start with the letter ‘S’ followed by a three-digit route number, which will be different to existing numbers.
