Coffs Christian School Bus – Service Change

From Monday, 20 April 2026, timetable and route path changes will take effect on selected school bus services to Coffs Christian School.

These changes include reinstating an amended School Bus S244 service to improve reliability. As outlined in the table below, the reinstated S244 has been simplified, with existing school bus services used to cover sections of the route that are no longer operated by S244, supported by planned transfer points.

Tallawong Public School bus services – change to school bus 5133 and new route 5506

Tallawong Public School bus services – change to school bus 5133 and new route 5506

From the start of Term 2, 2026, Tallawong Public School will open at its new location.

  • The new school is on Macquarie Road, east of Tallawong Road.
  • School hours are 8:40am to 2:40pm.
  • Route 742 currently services nearby areas. Additional connections are needed to and from Boundary Road, Tallawong.
  • When the school opens, temporary bus stops will be set up on Tallawong Road, south of Macquarie Road.
  • These temporary stops will be removed in Term 3 once the new bus bay on Macquarie Road is finished.

Current AM School bus 5133 will be amended to provide a direct connection to Tallawong Public School from the Boundary Road area. It will arrive at Tallawong Public School (Tallawong Road near Macquarie Road) at approximately 08:35

New Route 5506

A new PM school service (Route 5506) will be introduced from Tallawong Public School to Boundary Road and Kensington Park Road. It will depart from Tallawong Public School (Tallawong Road at Macquarie Road) at 14:50
