Additional Services in Western Sydney
To cater for community growth, additional route services will be introduced on Busways services in Western Sydney.
Effective: Sunday, 29 June 2025
The following Route Service will see improved weekend frequency, providing a 30-minute daytime service on Saturday and Sunday, hourly at night:

- 770
- 780
Route 780 will also operate the full route between Penrith and Mount Druitt on all weekend trips. Short trips between Mount Druitt and Tregear will no longer operate

Protective screens to boost driver safety across Busways’ South Adelaide fleet

Bus driving at Busways’ Adelaide depots just became safer with new driver protection screens currently being installed across 130 buses in Busways Adelaide Outer South contract region by the South Australian Government.
Route 729 Temporary bus stop closure
Due to a house rebuild on Miller Street before George Street, Mt Druitt, a bus stop will be temporarily closed from Monday 19 May 2025 until May 2026 (date to be confirmed).
Route affected 729 and school buses 6043 & 6517

Kariong area school and route bus delays this afternoon
Due to an earlier incident, the M1 Pacific Motorway is closed between Mooney Mooney Road and Morgans Rd. As a result, school buses and route services in the Kariong area are expected to be delayed this afternoon.
