Busways’ Kempsey depot operates bus services on Dhangatti land and we pay respect to their elders past and present.
Note: These workshops were deferred until later this year due to health restrictions.
For millennia, Australia’s Aboriginal elders have been working with the younger generations to pass on their language and culture histories so they can be carried on for years to come.

Busways’ Sydney operations more than double with award of one of Transport for NSW’s largest bus contracts
NSW Minister for Transport and Roads, Andrew Constance, today announced the award of one of Greater Sydney’s largest bus contracts to Busways.
From January 2022, we will operate almost 1.1 million trips a year for customers in the Lower North Shore and Inner North West for Greater Sydney Bus Contract 7, extending from Parramatta into the Sydney CBD. It is the first time this network will be managed by a private operator.

With six more electric buses due to arrive in Western Sydney from August, Busways is working with the vehicle manufacturer Custom Denning and TAFE NSW to build expertise and capability for mechanics to safely maintain our electric buses to the quality standards we set for our fleet.
