Busways is proud to support the Real Festival on 1 & 2 November and will be providing free shuttle buses to the event.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering again with Penrith City Council to be the main transport provider for the Real Festival,” said Melissa Mobbs, Assistant Operations Manager at Busways Blacktown.
“It’s great opportunity for people to leave the car at home and hop on a bus for great day out with family and friends.” she said.

From 5:30pm till 6:15pm on Thursday 28 November, route 322, 324, 325, 334L & 335W services will divert and miss some bus stops due to road a closure on Horton St.

From 7am on Friday 1 November to 12pm on Sunday 3 November, route 795 services to Penrith Station will divert and miss some bus stops due to road closures on Tench Avenue for the Real Festival.
Route 795 services to Warragamba will run as normal.

Transport for NSW has launched the first stage of Opal Connect - a new digital payment platform.
The new ticketing solution aims to provide an integrated and convenient experience for customers through a single digital account, a spokesperson for Transport for NSW said.
Customers can create an account via the transportnsw.info website and then securely link their Opal card and their credit or debit card.
Customers can use their Opal Connect account to sign in to different transport operator's apps to book and pay for their travel.
From Monday, October 28, Busways’ Western Sydney buses will no longer accept cash payments.
Tickets previously purchased from drivers will no longer be available and customers will need to purchase an Opal card or start using their credit or debit card to tap on and tap off during their journey. Customers can also use a device linked to one of these cards to tap on and tap off.
Due to a bush fire around Fire Trail Road, Castlereagh, route 678 services will divert along Castlereagh Rd.
Route 678 services will miss Cranebrook Rd(northern side), Church Ln, Church St, E Wilchard Rd, Sheridan Rd and Hinxman Rd until it is deemed safe to continue route services.
