Temporary changes to Stand D, Penrith Station

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, routes 673, 677, 678, 781, 789 and S13 services from Penrith Station, Stand D will depart from Stand C, Penrith Station to allow for the operation of rail replacement buses whilst trackwork is carried out on the T1 Western and Richmond train lines.

Temporary changes to Stand M & N services at Blacktown Interchange

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, Stand M and Stand N services at Blacktown Interchange will depart from different stands to allow for the operation of rail replacement buses whilst trackwork is carried out on the T1 Western and Richmond train lines.

Routes 730, 731, 732, 734, 735, 744, S7 from Stand M will depart from Stand K.

Route 743 from Stand N will depart from Stand G.

Catch a free shuttle bus to the Real Festival on 1 & 2 November

Busways is proud to support the Real Festival on 1 & 2 November and will be providing free shuttle buses to the event.

    “We’re thrilled to be partnering again with Penrith City Council to be the main transport provider for the Real Festival,” said Melissa Mobbs, Assistant Operations Manager at Busways Blacktown.

    Opal Connect now live for On Demand customers

    Transport for NSW has launched the first stage of Opal Connect - a new digital payment platform.

    The new ticketing solution aims to provide an integrated and convenient experience for customers through a single digital account, a spokesperson for Transport for NSW said.

    Customers can create an account via the transportnsw.info website and then securely link their Opal card and their credit or debit card.

    Customers can use their Opal Connect account to sign in to different transport operator's apps to book and pay for their travel.

    Tapping off cash payments - Busways' Western Sydney buses are going cashless

    From Monday, October 28, Busways’ Western Sydney buses will no longer accept cash payments.

    Tickets previously purchased from drivers will no longer be available and customers will need to purchase an Opal card or start using their credit or debit card to tap on and tap off during their journey. Customers can also use a device linked to one of these cards to tap on and tap off.
