Did you know that by law you must slow down to 40km/h when bus lights are flashing?
The NSW Government and Busways are working with the community to improve safety around buses through the Flashing Lights campaign, targeting motorists who don’t slow down to 40km/h when bus lights flash.
Busways is proud to support the Girrakool Blues Festival & BBQ on 6-8 March 2020 and will be operating limited shuttle buses to the festival for ticket holders who have pre-purchased their bus tickets.
The Girrakool Blues Festival and BBQ is a cultural, music and barbecue event held annually at Mt Penang Event Park on the Central Coast New South Wales.
Route 64 services will divert and miss some stops due to the celebrations near Fisherman's Wharf on Sunday 26 January from 6am until 11pm.
Services will operate via Park Road and Blackwall Road omitting Brick Wharf Road, North Burge Road and a section of Park Road.

Due to roadworks from Friday 24 January (weather permitting) until Thursday 30 April 2020, route 789 will miss stops along Smith Street between The Northern Road and Bringelly Road.
Route 789 buses will divert along Bringelly Road, Jamison Road and The Northern Road for services operating from Luddenham to Penrith.

From Tuesday 28 January until Thursday 30 April 2020 (weather permitting) School Bus 4058 will NOT be able to pick up students from bus stops in Fragar Road between Smith Street and Maxwell Street.
Students will need to proceed to the bus stop at Fragar Street before Wardell Drive (Stop ID 2750109).

Routes 668, 675A, 675C, 677, 678 680, 682 will be diverted to temporary bus stop in March Street from East Market Street, Richmond due to road closure from Tuesday 28 January 2020.
