A new driver recruitment advertising campaign by the NSW Government has been announced at Busways' Ryde Depot by the Hon Jo Haylen, Minister for Transport NSW, and Bus Industry Taskforce chair John Lee.
Bus driver recruitment is crucially important for our industry, with workforce shortages impacting service delivery across Sydney.
Temporary stand changes to Blacktown and Penrith Interchanges
Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July 223, Blacktown Interchange and Penrith Interchange buses will depart from different stands to allow for the operation of rail replacement buses whilst trackwork is carried out on the on the main western line between Penrith and Granville Stations.
From Blacktown Interchange:
- Routes 730, 731, 732, 734, 735 from Stand M will depart from Stand K.
- Route 743 from Stand N will depart from Stand G.
From Penrith Interchange:
- Routes 673, 677, 678 from Stand D will depart from Stand C

In great news for our NSW Central Coast customers, Busways has been selected to deliver bus services for a further eight years, following a competitive open tender process.
Last week Busways was awarded the Outer Metropolitan Bus Services Contract 6 (OMBSC6) by the NSW Government, having demonstrated its capabilities delivering high-quality bus services on more than 53.7 million passenger journeys a year across Australia.
