Good news for Busways customers in Bulahdelah and Heatherbrae. From Tuesday, 31 October 2023, customers will have access to real-time trip updates on the location of buses and estimated arrival times.

Customers will be able to access real-time information including bus location, estimated arrival time at a stop and occupancy status, thanks to state-of-the-art automatic passenger counting and vehicle tracking technology.

Parents and guardians will be able to check the progress of their child's school bus.

Customers can plan a bus trip by:

• Using the Trip Planner or trying our other digital tools to help you plan your trip; or
• Downloading the Opal Travel app.

Transport for NSW is seeking to improve the consistency and accuracy of bus service information across New South Wales. As part of this state-wide program, all dedicated school bus numbers are being amended so they can become part of a standardised system.

Check the new bus numbers in the school timetables on our website. There are no changes to routes.

School bus numbers will start with the letter ‘S’ followed by a three-digit route number, which will be different to existing numbers.
