Connecting Adelaide students with travel solutions
As Semester Two kicks off, our South Australia team was out meeting new students at Adelaide and Flinders University during midyear O-Week - helping them connect with the bus network that will support their studies and daily lives.
In collaboration with the SA Department for Infrastructure and Transport’s student engagement efforts, we hosted info stalls at both campuses to provide practical resources, including travel info guides, journey planning support, and merchandise. These face-to-face conversations created an open discussion about how students rely on and perceive public transport.
Encouraging informed travel choices helps position public transport as a vital part of a greener, more connected future. Events like these offer valuable insights into how young people are thinking about transport, not only as passengers but as future contributors to the industry.
Students were interested in learning how public transport is evolving, especially around sustainability, innovation, and career pathways. By connecting with students early in their academic journey, we’re helping to shape more informed public transport users.
