REAL Festival is returning to Penrith from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026, bringing three days of live entertainment, activities, food, market stalls and more to Tench Reserve along the Nepean River. 

Busways will once again support the festival by operating free and accessible shuttle bus services throughout the weekend, helping festival goers travel to and from the event with ease. 

On Water Laser Light Show 

On Friday and Saturday nights, the Nepean River will come alive with the spectacular On Water Laser Light Show, brought to you by Busways. 

The show will form part of the festival’s evening entertainment, alongside the range of activities and experiences available across the weekend.

Busways will operate free shuttle services throughout the festival from the following locations: 

• Emu Plains Station, Station St Car Park  
• Penrith Station, Stand D 
• Jamison Park – Northern Carpark 
• Tench Reserve South, Tench Ave 
   

Shuttle buses will operate throughout festival opening times.
