Navigation made easier with BindiMaps on Adelaide Metro

South Australia customers travelling into the city from the Outer South, there’s a new way of navigating key transport hubs with greater confidence and independence.
Adelaide Metro has launched a trial of BindiMaps, an accessible navigation app that helps people - especially those who are blind or have low vision, navigate complex indoor spaces. Using clear, natural language directions, the app helps customers understand where they are, what’s nearby, and how to move safely through busy areas.
The trial supports Adelaide Metro in creating safer, more accessible journeys for all passengers and promotes a more inclusive travel experience by helping people move confidently through major interchanges.
BindiMaps is currently available at three key locations across the network:
- Adelaide Railway Station
- The tram stop outside Adelaide Railway Station
- Paradise Interchange
Customers can access BindiMaps through the mobile app, via a web browser, or by using the onsite kiosk located near the Adelaide Metro InfoCentre.
We encourage passengers to download the app and explore the supported locations during the trial.
