COVID-19: School and route travel advice

COVID-19 Handwash

  • Updated 4:57pm, Monday 4 January

It’s essential that we all take the risks of the virus spreading very seriously and take steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones

Wear a mask, practice good hygiene, don’t travel if you are sick, and stick to the green dots.

From 3 January 2021, it is mandatory to wear a face mask on public transport in the Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong areas. Fines will apply.

In line with health advice, children under 12 years of age do not need to wear a mask. Please ensure you are wearing a face mask when going on the concourse, at bus/ coach stops, beyond station gates and travelling on our services.

Keep up to date with the latest travel information and advice.
