Our workshop staff play a critical role within the business to ensure our ever-evolving fleet of vehicles are continually maintained to the highest standard to keep our staff and passengers safe out on the road.
Busways provides ongoing training and support to employees based on their level of experience to enable you to meet our standards. Depending on the location, the position may involve shift work which can include early morning, late night, day time and weekend shifts.

What we're looking for
We are always looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals with high quality traits to join our growing team. If you work in the automotive industry and hold a current MVTC licence, come and join our growing workshops team. Busways offers a range of services within the workshops and are always looking to develop our knowledge and skill set in the following areas:
- Diesel Mechanics
- Spray Painters
- Panel Beaters
- Body Builders
Heavy vehicle experienced is desired but is not necessary as we are willing to train and develop the right candidates to suit the position.
- A current MVTC license
- A trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Mechanic
- Good communication skills
- Mechanical experience
- Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
- 5 years Heavy Vehicle (Bus/truck) experience
- Current driver’s licence (minimum MR preferred)
