Bus Driver Positions

Bus Drivers are our frontline representatives, playing a vital service role within the local community. You will be assisting our customers to get to their destinations on time while knowing they are in safe, capable hands and enjoying their Busways journey.

As part of this role, you will be required to provide quality customer service, drive buses safely and operate to meet Busways standards. This position involves shift work which can include early morning, late night and weekend shifts.

Busways provides ongoing training and personal development opportunities to employees based on their level of experience to enable you to meet our standards. Further information can be provided to you throughout the recruitment process. 

Application process

As part of the application process, you will need to provide copies of the following documents:

  • A copy of your Birth certificate or passport
  • Front copy your driver's licence
  • Driving history
  • Your bus driver authority/accreditation details (if applicable)

Your application will be assessed in line with predetermined job-related standards and will be compared against our selection criteria and position requirements such as, medical checks, background checks and criminal record checks to determine an outcome. You will be notified in writing of the outcome of your application.
