Busways proudly provides scheduled route and school bus services to communities in the Central Coast region.
The bus network covers a large geographical area including Woy Woy, Gosford, Kincumber and Wyong.
These services take passengers to and from work, school, shopping centres, beaches and many other places.
Some of the major trip destinations are the train stations of Wyong, Gosford and Woy Woy as well as Erina Fair Shopping Centre, Terrigal Beach, and the University of Newcastle, Ourimbah Campus.
Busways have been awarded a contract by the NSW Government to provide bus services in this area, also known as Outer Metropolitan Bus System Contract 6 (OMBSC 6), Central Coast.

The planned stop work action for tomorrow on Wednesday 28 September has been cancelled. All route services in Central Coast will operate to a normal weekday timetable on Wednesday 28 September.

On Friday 2 September from 1am to Saturday 10 September at 1am, Transport Workers Union members will be taking industrial action by refusing to wear uniforms, not turning on Opal card readers for customers and will not sell single trip tickets during the period, representing the actions taken by 35% of permanent employees who are union members.

Discussions between Busways and the TWU have progressed throughout the day. The TWU have decided to cancel the planned stop work action for next Monday.
