Busways proudly provides scheduled route and school bus services to communities in the Central Coast region.
The bus network covers a large geographical area including Woy Woy, Gosford, Kincumber and Wyong.
These services take passengers to and from work, school, shopping centres, beaches and many other places.
Some of the major trip destinations are the train stations of Wyong, Gosford and Woy Woy as well as Erina Fair Shopping Centre, Terrigal Beach, and the University of Newcastle, Ourimbah Campus.
Busways have been awarded a contract by the NSW Government to provide bus services in this area, also known as Outer Metropolitan Bus System Contract 6 (OMBSC 6), Central Coast.

From 1 August 2016, magnetic strip tickets (MSTs) and other legacy tickets and passes will no longer be sold or accepted across the Opal network. Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, Andrew Constance, announced that on 31 July 2016 remaining paper tickets will be retired. This marks the final step in transitioning towards a modern integrated electronic ticketing system.

Due to works on Montefiore St, Catherine Hill Bay, the two bus stops located on Clarke St will temporarily not be in service. The works are expected to last two weeks, weather permitting.

Due to the removal of a large tree on Showground Rd at Gosford, route 36 will follow a temporary diversion route on Saturday 28th May 2016 between 7am – 6pm.

Busways is proud to support the 5 Lands Walk festival on Saturday 25 June 2016 and will be providing free shuttle buses for attendees on the day. The 5 Lands Walk is a 10 km coastal walk on the Central Coast which connects five festival sites (5 Lands) starting at MacMasters to Copacabana, Avoca, North Avoca and Terrigal.
