Busways proudly provides scheduled route and school bus services to communities in the Western Sydney region.
This bus network covers a large part of Western Sydney including Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Rouse Hill, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Windsor, Penrith, Richmond and Hawkesbury Valley.
These services take passengers to and from work, school, shopping centres, beaches and many other places.
Some of the major trip destinations are the train stations on the Main Western Line as well as the Norwest Business Park, Westpoint Blacktown Shopping Centre, Castle Towers and Centro Nepean.
Busways has been awarded Sydney's Bus Contract 1 by the NSW Government to provide bus services in this area, also known as Region 1.

Busways is proud to support the 5 Lands Walk festival on Saturday 25 June 2016 and will be providing free shuttle buses for attendees on the day. The 5 Lands Walk is a 10 km coastal walk on the Central Coast which connects five festival sites (5 Lands) starting at MacMasters to Copacabana, Avoca, North Avoca and Terrigal.

Terry Road at Box Hill between George St and Old Pitt Town Rd will be closed to traffic due to a major road reconstruction. As a result the 746 service will follow a diversion route, omitting one bus stop. The works are expected to last from Monday 11 July - Monday 22 August, weather permitting.

Due to the Werrington Arterial Rd upgrade, the bus stops on Myrtle Rd, Claremont Meadows will be temporarily closed until further notice.

Busways advises that the Western Sydney bus network is experiencing service delays due to blocked roads and flooded areas. Most services are operating however there are significant delays and diversions in place to navigate conditions.

The annual Blacktown City Festival will be held on Saturday the 28th May 2016 and as a result, route 721 will follow a temporary diversion between 4am - 6pm.
