Western Sydney

Busways proudly provides scheduled route and school bus services to communities in the Western Sydney region.

This bus network covers a large part of Western Sydney including Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Rouse Hill, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Windsor, Penrith, Richmond and Hawkesbury Valley.

These services take passengers to and from work, school, shopping centres, beaches and many other places. 

Some of the major trip destinations are the train stations on the Main Western Line as well as the Norwest Business Park, Westpoint Blacktown Shopping Centre, Castle Towers and Centro Nepean.

Busways has been awarded Sydney's Bus Contract 1 by the NSW Government to provide bus services in this area, also known as Region 1.

Routes 770 & 778 Diversion

On Wednesday 17 February 2016 the intersection of Sunflower Drive North and Gipps Street, Claremont Meadows will close for road works. During this time 770 and 778 services will follow diversion routes.

Route 682 Timetable Amendment

To improve the train connection at Richmond Station, route 682 currently departing Kurrajong Shopping Village (public school days only) at 7.50am will now commence at 7.55am (5 minutes later) and operate at amended times as shown below.

Family Fares for Sunday Travel

With the Family Funday Sunday ticket no longer sold from 1 January 2016, customers who purchase Single or Return (adult or concession) tickets when travelling on any day of the week (including Sunday) can still access the Family Fare Deal only on Sydney and Intercity trains, Sydney Buses, Sydney Ferries and Newcastle buses and ferries.
