Western Sydney

Busways proudly provides scheduled route and school bus services to communities in the Western Sydney region.

This bus network covers a large part of Western Sydney including Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Rouse Hill, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Windsor, Penrith, Richmond and Hawkesbury Valley.

These services take passengers to and from work, school, shopping centres, beaches and many other places. 

Some of the major trip destinations are the train stations on the Main Western Line as well as the Norwest Business Park, Westpoint Blacktown Shopping Centre, Castle Towers and Centro Nepean.

Busways has been awarded Sydney's Bus Contract 1 by the NSW Government to provide bus services in this area, also known as Region 1.

Routes 745, 750, 755 and 761 return to normal route after projectile strikes on buses last week

Routes 745, 750, 755 and 761 will return to operating as normal from today (8/12/2016) after being diverted away from Carlisle Avenue due to projectile strikes on bus services in the Bidwill area.

S13 diversion - Friday 9 December

Due to works conducted on Mountainview Retirement Village, on Friday 9 December 2016 buses will not have road access into the retirement village and as a result, all S13 services will be diverted.

Route 745, 750, 755 and 761 diversion due to projectile strikes on buses

Due to projectile strikes on bus services in the Bidwill area on Carlisle Ave (between Jersey Rd and Luxford Rd) and on going safety concerns to drivers and customers, routes 745, 750, 755 and 761 will be diverted away from this section until further notice.

Route 783 diversion - Sunday 27 November

Due to the Ironman 70.3 Western Sydney event, commencing on Sunday 27 November from 6am-2.30pm, Castlereagh Road will be closed to all traffic and all route 783 services will be diverted.
