Opportunities for bus drivers
The main criteria for working as a Busways driver are:
- A current driver’s licence – Australian or NSW – at least MR class
- A current NSW Bus Driver Authority
- Two years’ heavy vehicle driving experience
- Customer service skills
- A good command of English – both verbal and written
When you apply for a driving position, you will need your Driver’s Licence, your Driver Authority and a copy of your RTA Licence printout.
To obtain your public passenger vehicle driver authority or vehicle license, you must prove your identity according to Ministry of Transport requirements.
