Major accident Pacific Highway, Valla- Highway closed

Please be advised that due to a major truck accident on the Pacific Highway at Valla resulting in the closure of the Pacific Highway a number of Busways services are affected and unable to reach their destinations.

Short Cut Road Closure

From Friday, 1 May until Sunday, 3 May 2015 (weather permitting), Short Cut Road will be temporarily closed to enable traffic to move onto the new bridge. As a result, services will be diverted via Pacific Hwy, left Waterfall Way, left into Short Cut Rd, u-turn at Ridgewood Dr to resume on normal route.

School bus stop changes on Burkes Lane and Pacific Highway intersection

As part of a jointly funded project between Australian and NSW governments - the Nambucca Heads to Urunga Pacific Highway upgrade will see work on the new local road to connect Burkes Lane to East West Road nearing completion. Once this new local road is opened the Burkes Lane intersection with the existing Pacific Highway will be permanently closed from 10 April 2015, weather permitting.

WOW Day: An interview with Skye Lever from the NSW SES

Busways will be acknowledging the hard work of our State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers by turning orange on November 12th for Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW Day). The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) is an emergency and rescue service dedicated to assisting the community. It is made up almost entirely of volunteers, with 229 units located throughout NSW.
