


Lost Property Policy
Busways keeps and records all property found on Busways buses. Lost property is kept at the depot where the bus the item was found on, operates from. Every effort will be made by depot staff to identify and contact the owner of a lost item. Lost property that isn't identified is stored for three months before disposal.
Retrieval of Lost Property
If you have left something on a Busways bus (or think you may have) ring the depot that the route you were travelling on operates from. They will check your description against the lost property register. If the lost item has not yet been found your details and the description of your lost item will be recorded and checked when more property is handed in.
